About Me

June 2023

I am primarily a wife, mother, grandmother, and worshiper of my absolutely amazing God, but I am also a recording artist, a program manager working from home, a writer, and a million other things, depending on what I’m dabbling in. My husband and I celebrate 28 years of marriage this year, and our kids are all grown and living in their own homes. Now it’s our grandkids who are growing up too fast.

I play the keyboard and sing at church because I love worshiping my Savior Jesus more than anything else, and I’m slowly recording the worship songs God has given me. I’m also a mentor at a crisis pregnancy center, and I play the piano and sing hymns at nursing homes when my work and recording schedule permits. I also dabble in a million other things because I seem to have this desire to pack several lifetimes of living into this one I’ve been given.

So why this website? Because I am also a satisfied soul who desperately wants the world to know the hope that is just waiting for them in Jesus. It is for all those times when God does something for me or shows me something… those times when I want to shout His goodness and greatness from the rooftops and share Him with the world…to give all those who search a glimpse of hope.

If for some reason you still want to know more about me, then you’ll find plenty on this website. If you’re interested in my testimony then check out My Ultimate Makeover from 2002 (text story), what God did through my car accident in 2014 (video), or this collection of little stories (another video). But this blog has tons of stories of all He’s been doing for many years!

My prayer for you–because you arrived at this blog–is this:

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. That’s Ephesians 1:17-19 and my favorite verse in the whole Bible! (And if you don’t believe, it’s never too late.)

I pray
